Went to the local lake 2 days ago and noticed a couple of egrets standing in the water. Nothing much happening, so took a few snaps and kept walking around the lake. That was mostly a bust, but when I came back the sun was nice and low in the afternoon and suddenly there was a flourish of activity from the egrets. We had one great egret and several little egrets. I think I took about 300 shots of the action and here are a few of my favourite shots that I've so far processed. All with the A9 + 200-600G

Thank you very much! The first image was heavily cropped. To give you an idea, here is the uncropped version. The final JPEG file is only 3.5 MP. The A1, A7RIV do give a lot of room for cropping
