Chacha and Chachi, who run this amazing dhaba, are popular figures. In 2012 during a blizzard 106 trekkers were trapped on this secluded road to Kaza. The storm raged on for 10 days. The couple in their 60s have saved many lives and have been recognised with many awards.

Thank you, K-H! I took over 10K images in 8 days. Easy to do with the A1 and there are a lot sequential images. I would say, I could easily delete, but I haven’t done so, about half of them since they look virtually the same to each other. So far, I have edited 300+ and there are about double that that are keepers. It is a long term “project” and I am still working on them as we talk…

Here is another one….Supposedly, it is a rare bird and it is visible during the wild avocados or “aguacatilos” season and yes, to feed on those fruits.

Looking at a Wood Stork in Breeding Plumage and reflection; unfortunately I can not recover detail of the bird's back.
