The burrowing owlet here just landed and it was trying hard to balance itself. Any guess as what to the greenish lighter area is in the center/upper portion of the image?

More damp photos from yesterday. We are actually entering the drier summer months, but there is still opportunity for rain, occasionally heavy. Fortunately, yesterday was light rain, so I could safely get out with camera and no rain jacket.
The horse chestnut trees really are very green in Spring!
