I agree with Ronny, Wilhelm...The C/Y 28 is a great car shooter! carlsote1...welcome to the A7 thread. Great images, and love your firework shots! The OM 24 looks really interesting!
Here are a bunch of shots of Mason and his friend at an amusement park yesterday, all taken with the CV 35 1.7 Ultron.

Well since i had a couple of members make some useful suggestions in another post i will post here. Maybe we can get the mods to add (S) to the title of this thread?
First shots with the new camera.
All with A7s with 55 f/1.8
Some nice shots there Viper. However even though I know this is not a C&C thread I thought I might just chime in here on two shots. The second shot is almost shooting straight up the lady's nose and my daughter (a model) tells me this is an absolute no-no .. no matter how beautiful the lady is, and she is !
The 3rd shot of the lady is a lovely shot with rim lighting but the building on the left really needs cropping out. There, happy I got that off my chest now you can tell me to P#@$ O@$ !

Hi Frog thank you for taking the time out to provide some C&C. I agree with your comments. The lady in the picture i just recently got engaged to on friday. I told her i wasnt a big fan of that second shot but she said she liked it. lol Great eye on cropping the left out. Agreed total distraction! I shot those angled out in that way because i wanted to test the bokeh of the 55 1.8 on the A7s the rest was a big plus. Thanks a lot again
Yesterday I found some time and gave a go to Nikkor Micro 105/2.8 AIS and Sigma Apo Macro 180/5.6 with the A7.
Nikkor is a very good to excellent lens.Contrast,colours,sharpness-everything on a high level. Some LoCA,esp in contrasty lighting, but easy removable. One of the toughest built quality, small size and comfortable focusing.Smooth oof blurr.Great lens. All pics wo:
Sigma Apo Macro 180/5.6 - pretty rare and overlooked, probably due to slow max aperture.Very small for a 180mm lens,(the size/weight similar to Zuiko 135/2.8 or Canon 135/2.8 n FD),and solid. Two large apo elements in front assure high IQ at f5.6.Sharpness and contrast very good.Dof wa is narrow,so no feel of a a slow lens whatsoever. Some LoCA in harsh lighting.
Here in direct sunlight wo:
Peire...It looks like we have some of the same plants.

I agree with cputeq that the Minolta 35-70/3.5 macro has some interesting Bokeh effects when wide open. It's generally quite pleasing but some times a little busy depending on the subject.
(It's a great lens at any aperture IMO.)
From the Garden - note the variable Bokeh effects.
