Not to bore you to death, here are a few more shots of the green heron chick from yesterday afternoon, and two humming bird shots in the morning. I love the late afternoon light on the side of the green herons.
Moonlight Spruce Knob Lake in West Virginia. Went there to capture Milky-way and Perseids. Perseids intensity was only 7/hr and just when I got one, it was ruined with the exact timing of a car in parking lot that kept lights running for a while. The moonlight picture of lake with fog ended up as my saving grace for such a long drive and night to get there from Washington DC. But a very beautiful place to camp.
