I haven't seen one of those around in years - I've been worried about their numbers. The pileated's are seeming to make a comeback though. (I can't seem to be able to get anywhere near them when I have a camera though).
Douglass - what I especially like about those first two (Happy and Motherly Love) are that they are very like how Audubon would have painted them, with the weird poses, but no one would have believed they really looked like that!

Mike -- Great shots you've been posting lately with the Zony 24-70! I also had a nice copy I liked very much. Great colors and sharpness in your copy as well.
From the garden this morning. I love the Voigtlander 110mm. I added almost nothing in post other than a very heavy crop; just levels and the tiniest bit of sharpening.
