Hi Ray, the painted silo is probably unique to Australia, huh? I have not seen anything like that from other parts of the world. It is actually quite an undertaking to create that kind mural; those silos are quite tall, I would say. Wonderful images; the one above and the ones you previously posted, of course.

Thanks Joshua, they are certainly a wonderful feature all around the country, they now have designated silo trails which is adding greatly to the tourist dollars for these struggling outback towns.
As for the murals themselves they do an outline from a projected image then do the rest, I think
Douglas, gorgeous images of the green herons and also the ones you previously posted are excellent! I would select the best 5-6 of them or so, clean them up (clone out some branches, for example) and post them on the Nature and Wildlife forum.
