I was there 2 weeks ago.
It's surprisingly busy there. But tough corona protective measures, so everything takes a lot longer.
Most of my Pictures were taken early in the morning or a bit off the sights.
Venice is always beautiful, but I would also like to be there for carnival, only because of your fascinating pictures

Venice was bustling then; they got hit hard but fortunately they have recovered pretty well then. Good to hear. Yes, Venice during the carnival days is worth seeing and photographing. I am not sure that I will be ready for next year but maybe in 2022 I may be up to do that again. We will see...

From last Sunday late in the afternoon or early evening in a basically deserted downtown LA, which worked better for us .
No theme in sight for this week's shooting. Explored a creek, found a bright kingbird, found a dark little blue heron, and tried my hand at some 120 film that I have yet to develop, what an interesting camera this thing is!
