These images aren't as exciting as the great fireworks and rodeos above, but I just got a very interesting lens for A7R and wanted to share my first day's experiments.
It's the Sigma 150mm f2.8 Macro OS (image stablized) in Alpha mount. Works great on the LA-EA4 adapter, very fast and accurate focus and the image stablization really helps.
I've got other nice (even legendary) macro lenses, but the Sigma really impressed me today with zero distortion, zero CA, sharp even at infinity.
Hi, first post in this thread. I just got the FE 24-70 for my A7R, just in time for a family weekend outing. Its performing very well, as expected based on the reviews of it here and elsewhere. I've only run into the occasional 70mm shot where nothing appears to be sharp despite my extra care and shot discipline with this camera, which I suppose is attributed to the effect of shutter shock on the OSS.
I do all my processing in Capture One Pro, which currently doesn't have lens correction profiles for this lens so I get to see the lens' distortion in its full glory. It's still fine as I can manually correct it, and in some shots it isn't really apparent so I don't bother doing any correction unnecessarily.

I bought the 24-70/4 Sony and returned it as it wasn't as sharp as I liked in the corners; but, the colour rendition and look of the images it makes is quite lovely.
Your images here show some of that attractive character. (Number 3 & #5 are especially nice.)
Thanks for posting these.
