just purchased a 50/1.4 MINOLTA MC ROKKOR-X PG and adapter. are there any approximately 35 and/or 85 mm equivalents on the same mount that can look good on the a7? manual focus is so easy on the a7 it kills me to spend so much on the autofocus sony lenses.

MD 35/2.8 - Very fine lens on the A7r (so I'm sure it's great on the A7). Around $60 if you are patient ($140 if you're not!).
MD 85/2 - Reputed to be great though I have not used it...and it is not the bargain of the above 35.
A quicky with the Minolta 35-70/3.5. I absolutely love the bokeh this lens spits out, but unfortunately it only seems to have "the magic" at f/3.5. Once you're down to f/5.6 (the next stop), the magic (IMO) is lost.

Fantastic Phillip (as usual). I suppose near your home... it seems you live in a sort of heaven
the pond is 5 bicycle minutes away from were I live and there is indeed some nice nature close to were I live, but sometimes I would like to have a bit more dramatic landscape around here.
