Near the top of the Trexler Nature Preserve. Schnecksville, PA.
By the way I took that shot with my broken Gitzo tripod. Earlier one of the legs snapped off the main base. It appears to be known issue with these earlier models. The magnesium gets too brittle due to cold temps.
The clouds near these peaks caught some brilliant color during sunrise. The colors here may look artificially boosted but they were very close to the scene I witnessed. I was frantically shooting different compositions to catch the moment. It all looked like a volcano had erupted near the peak.
