At The Point Overlook, Shenandoah National Park, Virginia.
Was looking for a shot from a few years ago and came across some pics from the top of Rockefeller Center I never did anything with, merged them together. Taken with my old A7R2 & Batis 18.
I spent the day hiking around Rocky Mountain National Park the other day. The park is about 2 hours from my home. I arrived at 5:30 AM and was the first to hit the trail. I hiked in the dark with the wind howling with some deep snow. This was the beautiful view that was presented to me when I stopped at this overlook to catch blue hour. In the center covered with ice and snow is an alpine lake. There are a handful of lakes around this section of the park and I visited three of them on this hike.
