Over the years, my nuclear family has migrated Thanksgiving to Saturday so the younger couples can spend the day with their significant others' families. So I went out today for a walk in my native DUMBO and Brooklyn Bridge Park.
Great shots, make me miss the city (but not ConEd cones everywhere). Like the first and third the best.

Looking at a Great Egret in breeding plumage standing on a log with an Alligator to the right and behind. Wading birds have to be careful, if they fall in and are seen by alligators, they will be eaten.
