Ronny...thanks for the remarks about the R80. Been lusting over it for awhile. Finally got a bite and pulled the trigger...I love the lens, but I did have to sell several lenses to make up for the purchase...and I won't be looking back!
Looks like you're playing catch-up with the A7 thread!! Love seeing your images!! And Nitro is a gorgeous GS.
Wilhelm..love all your shots with the C/Y 35 1.4!!
Gregg
Found a nice, clean, Leica R 19/2.8 Elmarit V1, here are some shots with it on my A7r, the last 3 shots were ETTR for the clouds, so the foreground was under exposed, then adjusted in post(LR5), my adapter(R to EOS +EOS to E-mount) is slightly too thick so infinity should improve when I get a new adapter.
I'm not too sure on my processing, they feel a bit off, some feedback would be appreciated. http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-wiki.en/index.php/19mm_f/2.8_Elmarit-R_I
Sheesh this thread is humming along. Great photos from everyone, I'm too lazy to name them all but I've never hit the "like" button as much as this thread
Right about now some strange stuff started falling from our Albuquerque skies here...I had to take a couple of photos!
In other news, I'm hoping I can put Gregg's former Leica R 90mm to as good of a use as he did
And -- I apparently am a ~50mm shooter at heart, because I keep cropping a lot of my FE 35 shots to around that FOV.
Hoping my Minolta 45/2 sates some of my desire for a 50mm, because I'm damn-near out of money.
These are part of a collection of 8 statutes that progress through American history. They stand in a line in front of the city hall in Mason, Michigan; a small, quaint mid-western town. The artist is local and carves these with a chain saw. The smallest of them is about 7 feet tall.
Thanks for looking,
Mark
And Gregg, because of you I am likely to over spend for a Contax 35-70 shortly. The 28-85 I have is great but fitted the 5D2 far better than the A7. Gah
Lancia Flavia. Of course crap quality but yet another superbly lined Italian car. A7 + Contax 35/1.4.
Many excellent images here!
Wilhelm, great shots with the C/Y 35/1.4. Just love the rendering with this lens!!
I have been testing WA solutions for the A7r, and I was fortunate to acquire a mint version of the 28 Elmarit R VII ROM. This lens is wonderful, but on further testing I noticed a lot of field curvature, particularly at f/4 and even f/5.6, both on the A7r and M240 which surprised me. Of course, you can easily work around this, but for the additional weight and size of this 28 Elmarit R, I am now reverting to using the WATE, 24 Lux and FE 35 for now.
Shots from this morning, as the rain storms were approaching. 24 Lux at f/5.6 with A7r. 75 Cron AA at f/8 with A7r.

Charles, are you applying lens profiles in ARC? About 1.5 year ago Adobe provided number of Leica-R lens profiles specifically for M240 supported R glass.
Thank, Jack. I have been using the profiles in Lr for both the A7r and M240, via RAW. For close to medium, it is not noticeable, but for medium to far, and focus settings at far medium to infinity it becomes very noticeable. If I did not have other options, I would continue using the 28 Elmarit R, and it is a great lens BTW. The 24 Lux works better on the A7r as a WA, and the 28 Cron is better on the M240. I am still exploring the options we have, and see what works best. Ideally when travelling, I just wish to keep to a very few select lenses
I feel another lens, that has been somewhat forgotten, is the 75 Cron AA. It is a light, ergonomic lens, that works almost better on the A7r.
Jeremy...Really like the second shot! The FE 35 is such a nice, small, sharp lens!
Retrofocus...Insane images! I really like the colors of the second!
Here are some more from today. I was actually able to get some shots off today, as work wasn't as crazy!
A7 and Summilux R80
Behind this gate lies...I kid you not...a 10,000 sq ft house!! WO
Thank you Charles. The 24 Lux works better on the A7r as a WA <-- I am trying to reduce number of lenses for the sake of simplicity, but you not make it any simpler for me, you know
As for Summicron-M 75 AA; wasn't it the lens that the Swedish poster Luke(?) ended up dumping for its lack of personality? Regardless, it's one of Karbe's first lenses designed for Leica so it's a 'no' for me (don't ask - a personal(ity) thing)
BTW, I noticed that there are many new, improved options for lens adapters to E format. In December 2013 most of the E-mount adapters to were designed for NEX crop cameras, but recently more specific Sony A7/R designs are coming up.

Are there any new Contax-E mount adapters yet? The one I have behaves really bad with reflections from my C/Y 35-70
