Took a quick trip to Phoenix after being in soaked in San Francisco all of last week. Walked the grounds of the Biltmore last night with the Voigtlander 40 1.2 + A7iii
The previous image I posted from Bosque showed 3 sandhill cranes and, yes, the moon. This is from a different morning showing countless snow geese but the moon is still in the composition but not that obvious...
Some leftovers from last year with A7II and CV 50mm/1.5 VM.
Now we're having dreadful weather again. Warm, windy and gray and most of the snow is gone. Very unusual for February.
Lake Louis:
The first shot is the typical view from the Fairmont Chateau end, followed by glacier end, viewing the hotel and ski mountain in the background, followed by a shot from the hiking trail on the north (northwest) side of the lake.
The color of the glacier water was most apparent from the hiking trail.
Which beach were you at and when? Reason I ask is because of my series (see below). I went to China Beach on Monday morning.
I'm really liking the blue color you got. When is it from? I might have to go back and edit mine a bit.

I would love to hear everyone's CC on these images. I like the #2 composition the best but the light from #3 - which one does everyone prefer ? #1 and #2 are shot with a CZ 35-70, #3 is with a Loxia 21, and #4 is with a Nikon DX 55-300.
I was way at the parking lot zoomed in with my 70-400. Wanted to avoid the 100% naked filipinos on that beach since I had my kits with me. IMO your images can benefit from a focus stack, making the rocks and the bridge sharp. My image was taken about 45 min after sunset
