Looks familiar as I recently “liked” the Voigtlander 65mm version of it in a different thread The 35mm version doesn’t look any less detailed, and given the 65mm fame, this is quite a feat.
This is a frame out of 25 or so sequential shots when I used a slow shutter speed while panning. Only two frames are good and this is one is the best out of the two. Here, the eye, head, most of the body are sharp and a tiny sparkle on the visible eye did it. The slow keeper rate is typical for this type of panning. Keep in mind that I was using a gimbal head on a sturdy tripod for the action. The keeper rate would be even lower without, at least for me.
On the other hand, when I used a shutter speed of 1/500sec or faster to freeze the flight motion, I am getting a keeper rate of 80-90% out of approximately the same sequential shots. There is nothing wrong with freezing the action mid air but getting a variety of actions is always good.

Sorry not sorry for more sigma Art sharpness at the beach. Again all straight from camera jpgs. I’ll mess with all my RAW images when I’m back from vacation.
I haven't shot my A7ii in over 4 months. Busy with my film cameras and new little darling GX9. I also haven't mounted my "desert island lens" - the Rokinon 85/1.4 manual focus lens - in over a year! What??
Another (small) snowstorm was forecast to hit NYC today, so I made a plan to head out for a few hours and decided to take the A7ii and Rok. I was NOT disappointed. So much so that I am now debating why I need anything other than the A7ii and a few choice lenses...
All A7ii + Rokinon 85/1.4 @1.4 taken in Brooklyn Bridge Park, NY.
I thought this was Zabriskie Point but it's actually called Manly Beacon. Zabriskie Point is actually the lookout spot overlooking the landscape. This whole area is composed of sediments from Furnace Creek Lake, which dried up 5 million years ago. Pretty incredible. I captured this image during alpenglow.
FE 100-400 GM (I wish I hadn't shot this at 1/15 sec as it could be sharper)
Now something different. A car made of mainly Lego. Over a million Lego pieces used, and no glue used at all. The interior is pretty much all Lego as well, including the seats, interior, rear view mirror, and steering wheel. Most of the car is made from Lego. The best part, its an actual functioning car. If you've never heard of, or seen this car. Look up "lego bugatti" or "lego chiron" or a combination of them both. Pretty cool to see it in person though. Obviously i didn't get that close, i had to crop the photo.
