Seascape photography has a variety of sub-genres and capturing the perfect flow of the ocean with a wide angle lens has some risks since you cannot predict when the bigger wave will come. The only certainty is that sooner or later it will hit strongly you and your equipment. If you’re not prepared to keep your ground better you don’t venture to the edge.
I've got a big wave that completely soaked me and the camera and kept shooting to eventually capture this one.
A7riii and the wonderful CV21 color skopar.
