Great shots, everyone! Just a couple sunrise and sunset shots from this weekend. The first one was shot at 1/13 second, handheld. I thought it was 1/130 second from the EVF.. I need to have my eyes checked. The lens and body stabilization saved it.
Love the last the most Douglas.
The lone light, reminds me of many years ago sea kayaking out to Wolf Trap Lighthouse.

Thank you, Robert. I remember you said you wanted to see an airshow at least once. I just found out that on April 27-28, there will be two different shows in N. Carolina and S. Carolina. The show at Seymour Johnson AFB in NC will include the Thunderbirds, B-2 (!), B-52, F-35, F-15, F-16, A-10 and a few civilian/older military prop. planes. The show at the Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, SC will include the Blue Angels, F-22 and a bunch of civilian/older military prop. planes too. It will be great if you could see both, then you don't need to see another one for the rest of your life, unless you become an airshow nut like me. If I had to choose one of these two shows I would pick the NC one for its variety and the B-2, but I always have a soft spot for the Blue Angels.
Blue hour over a field of mud cracks. The sky had a nice warm glow in the distance but sunrise was a bust due to no clouds. Still, the patterns in the mud tiles were interesting enough to capture.

Studio shot with my A7III, 90mm F2.8 G, using 2 Godox 870 II one with a bounce diffuser and the other with a 24x36 softbox. Photographed on hobby lobby craft paper :-) Anxiously awaiting animal eye AF. . . Atropoides mexicanus, also known as the Central America Jumping Viper from my personal collection.
While looking for something else, I came across some photos I took on a trip to Jasper, Alberta, Canada.
This was at a canyon off the Icefields Highway between Banff and Jasper.
Second image is in case you missed the details of the crazy people in the first
