No disrespect intended towards other birds but thanks to your pictures and those of xpfloyd the puffin is definitely my favourite bird. I’m wondering if you’ve heard of a puffin being kept as a pet?
Well thank you Genji. Don't judge a Puffin on my shots. Eddie did a much better job and got way closer. They are quite remarkable bierds that's for sure.
Pets! Ha! That would be a hoot! Never heard of such though. Me, I consider NO bierd for a pet...something about psittacosis I wouldn't like.
Hummingbirds in whole or in part always seem to be moving. So choosing an exposure time of 1/320 s @ 800 mm is really pushing ones luck. Therefore many images are more or less slightly or significantly out of focus. However, at 20 FPS one still captures quite a few images that are in focus at the desired relatively low ISO.
I made my way to the Manhattan Brooklyn Bridge park yesterday. Quit the place to spend the day. So much going on, multiple weddings, photographers with clients everywhere and all the beautiful women oh my.
