WFrank: nice, I want to see more from this lens wide open, considering it a lot.
Hi flypenfly...it was Wfrank's shots with this lens that led me to purchase mine. Look at the last 2-3 pages of this thread for WO shots with it on my A7!! It really is a fantastic lens! I've heard many people say that it's too heavy for their M bodies...but I don't think so...at least not on the A7/r bodies!

I had no idea about that Gregg :-). Very nice Citroen shots, and I mean *very* nice. Love to hear that you like the lens, it's not super small but make a very nice combo on the A7. And I agree that while the CV35/1.2II is a capable landscape lens I like the CY (overall) better for that kind of purpose.
Flypen: Thank you so much. 2nd is 1.2 and 1st is 1.4 by coincidence. A 1.2 would look much the same. IMHO 1.4 is slightly, but just slightly, sharper and bokeh dont change much at this distance. It's more a matter of PP.
@Flypenfly, the 35 1.2 will be VERY different to your 55 1.8 ZA, it will have lower contrast and some aberration wide open. Though, it will not have the same aberration and veiling as the Voigtlander 40 1.4.
@Oldraven, nice picture. I remember your bubble selfies, it was quite unique.
