Incredible images Jack! Ireally like the last one! That Nokton shines in your hands! Your images make me want to grab the 50 1.5, too! Is there any difference between the M mount version vs the LTM version 50 1.5?

Checked today how tubes and extender works with Metabones III & Carl Zeiss Makro-Planar T* 2/50 ZE. I didn't like tubes, but 2x seemed better. Using 2x also removed field curvature, when shoot from medium and far distances.
Excellent example of the Canon Metabones III & Zeiss 50/2 MP ZE! This gives great confidence in use of tubes and extender on the A7 w/ Metabones III. I'm going to definitely try this out before my next vacation. Thank you once again Samuli!
Thank you Gregg.
Voigtländer LTM mount is Leica Thread Mount. Earlier Nokton 50/1.5 version was released in LTM, but current Nokton 50/1.5 version was released in so called VM [Voigtlander M-mount] for which you may use standard M to E adapter.
On the topic of M to E adapters, I just got the latest Voigtlander Leica M Lens to Sony E Adapter II, which supposed to address shading issues by future of [not much info from CV, but according to Stephen Gandy's CameraQuest] ”having a larger throat for less vignetting”
Versions wise; please see Ron Scheffler's note on CV 50/1.5 coating somewhere on Leica forum.
two portraits wide open, Pancolar 1,8/50mm zebra and Mamiya 1,7/85mm both handheld
even after so many years that we've been together, this Pancolar continues to amaze me, is not far behind the Mamiya
Jack, beautiful set with the 50/1.5 and love the under the bridge shot with the elmarit too.
Gregg, great pics. You're putting the cy100 to good use. I took some test shots with mine after I received it and really like what I see. Hope to do some serious shooting with it soon. Work gets in the way
Really loving this lens wide open, it's pretty special lens for me, a gem of a keep plus the MF is soooo fast on my copy! Kind of slippery in a good way

Daughter showed up for a surprise visit from college. Took her out for a shoot with my new A7r....
Nice. Manual flash(es)? If not I'm interested in which model you use, I'm considering buying one for my A7r, even if I've been using only manual flashes until now.
This time I tried out some of my Oly Zuiko lenses on the A7.Sharper than Pentaxes M tested last week, esp wa lenses, with neutral colour rendition and lower microcontrast. The last facor may account for underestimating Oly lenses by many.
Zuiko 200/5 silvernose, single coated, was probably the biggest surprise,as it is sharp wo and has only bearable amount of CA.Good for everything from closeups to infinity.
Same story with small and compact 135/3.5
100/2.8 - a very good and pretty fast little short tele
50/3.5 macro - tiny great macro
50/1.8 - sharp little gem, still one of the best IQ value for money
35/2 - very good moderate wa,oof blurr quite good.
24/2 - not as good as 24/2.8 imo,but one f stop faster.OOF blurr could have been less nervous
24/2.8 - sharp, sharp, sharp for a 24/2.8 old lens.Vignetting against blue sky pretty strong even at f8 (here removed in LR5.4)
21/3.5 - very sharp either,corner smearing acceptable at f8

Im using my old sb600 with impact triggers. They are manual work great and are very well built. Cosmetically look and fit very good on the A7(r)
