My wife planned an overnight trip for us to the North Shore of Lake Superior because she heard the Northern Lights were forecast to be a strong possibility (She's great, isn't she?). I was fortunate to capture a few from the shore but the lights were behind me over the trees. Still a thrill to see them even if briefly.
I was between the towns of Lutsen and Grand Marais. A beautiful area for any photography.
Shot taken shortly after sunrise of the Castle Hill Lighthouse in Newport, Rhode Island. I used my NISI V5-Pro 100 Holder with NISI CPL plus my Lee Proglass IRND 10 Stop Filter. Long Exposure at 122 seconds.
I really like this new NISI V5-Pro Filter Holder with built-in CPL Filter. It doesn't vignette with my FE 16-35mm GM lens at 16mm-17mm like the Lee Foundation Holder does with the Lee CPL mounted in the front of the Holder. The NISI thumb wheels on the CPL make it very easy to rotate the CPL even with other Filters stacked in front.
