I think the A7 are capable of shooting many different scenes (like Action) excellently as long as you understand how to use it and just shoot..
Less talk of AF that and AF this and more shooting i say, not that i think anyone in this thread do the talking
Here is another Watchman, Zion picture. This is a very famous spot but I had to capture it since it was my first time in Zion.
A7R, Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L II, 28mm, f/9, 0.5sec
I hope you like it.

I agree, I've been very pleasantly surprised at how well the A7 does with C-AF. I'd say its pretty much on par with the XT1 I had previously. Its not going to replace my D3s by any means, but it delivers a pretty acceptable "keeper" rate for casual shooting. You'll likely get some shots OOF for sure, but just shoot a bunch, so even if you've got a 50% hit rate, take 10 frames and you have at least 5 in focus.
I certainly didn't buy the camera for action of any sorts, but its nice to be able to get some shots of the kids or dog running around.
Furthermore, as I'm going on vacation in a week, and figured having an AF zoom would be handy for when other family members may take some shots with the camera, picked up the FE 28-70 for $250. I again wasn't expecting much but its a pretty darn nice little lens.
Its super light weight, and though plastic, feels pretty solid. Also nice is that the lens barrel only extends about 10mm so it basically keeps its length. I thought it was going to be like the Fuji 18-55 where i really nearly doubles it length (which I hate)
Decent optics too, plus OSS which can come in handy. Pair it with the A7 C-AF and its gets the job done. Its kind of slow, f3.5 - f5.6, however, being on FF, you still do get some decent subject isolation at even 28mm, f3.5. Certainly different than a slow "kit" zoom on a m4/3 camera.
Was testing it with the dog running around in the back yard and got about 75% of shots in focus. Pretty darn pleased with both.

Is the M-version same optically as R-version? Asking this since I don't like R-version boke on my typical scenarios (harsh and difficult boke mid-distances and background quite close to focus plane). What R-version does on focus plane and near it is very nice.

I knew someone was going to call me on this
No, I don't have APO-Summicron-M 90 ASPH or its R version counterpart, and I have no clue about their real life differences. I believe till the arrival of Leica M240 and Sony A7/R it was impossible to compare these two plus Zeiss Makro Planar 2/100 (on a full frame it is)
I am committed to stick with Sony E format for now and replacing larger and heavier SLR lenses with RF versions is a tempting option. Couple years ago, when shooting with Nikon I had no choice but to get Leica R, but now days Leica M lenses (50mm+) are very appealing options.
So, if I was on a market for a high quality 90-100mm lens from Z or L than Leica APO-Summicron-M 90 ASPH would be on the top of my list. However, is selling Zeiss 2/100MP and replacing it with APO-Summicron-M 90 ASPH going to bring any improvement beside size reduction? Not sure, but I hope sooner or later someone will post 3-way comparison between these three great lenses.

i agree that's a pretty wicket shot. Very 3D.
Thanks!
I have always difficulties picking, which photos to post. For example this one is the weakest of series, and I personally like much more this (light and composition) or this ("3d"). Well there is always something to learn, and I definitely need to learn to be better on picking good pictures, I post so many pictures just because I have so hard time deciding what are the "good" pictures
