In addition to portraits, there is another type of photography I love. No, not landscape although yes, I love landscape photography, too but I am referring to wildlife photography. For Sony mirrorless system users though, it is a daunting task but I managed to get something to work with AF. Here is an image of 1,120mm at wide open that I captured today just a few hours ago and yes, it is confirmed the AF works! I will start a thread later but for right now here is the image and its crop to show the details. I will start a thread later on and I will reveal the "secret". Edit: by a quick calculation, seems you have installed TC2x and TC1.4x together... is this the secret?!?
The first shot is taken from the hallway on the eighth deck of a cruise ship in the North Sea. The shot was exposed for the setting sun just like the second shot from the outside deck, no bracketing, just a silhouette shot of the hallway. In Lightroom I made a copy of the silhouette, opened up the shadows and then did an HDR merge of the two images. I was tempted to create additional bracketed exposures but final adjustments to the two shot merge were adequate. These RAW files have a lot of depth.
The RAW files certainly have a lot of depth but your impressive balancing of interior and exterior light produced an entirely natural looking result. Great job!
