Great grabs everyone! Last two pages!
Chris88...thanks for the input! Sound advice. Except I think trying to play the "exempt a lens from the trip", I've decided I'll probably take my whole lineup!! I've realized that having kids and going to Hawaii doesn't compute to a yearly vacation. It's been three yrs since our last, whereas before kids we went every year, sometimes twice. Point is, I think I'd be doing a disservice to myself if I didn't take most of the lenses to at least shoot them there! I(we) traveled Italy 7yrs ago and I carried a 1D4&24-70&70-200ll& Adapted Nikon 14-24....so adding a lens or two for this trip is not really a big deal....I couldn't imagine NOT taking the 50ZA because of weight. I'd get home and be like,"wtf was I thinking...it's my fav lens"!!

There's just something about this humble shot of fence, rhodies, and extreme side/back-lighting that keeps me thinking about it. (Thanks again to Chuck Coyne for the lens!)
And I have a question.
I've got some cheep MD-Leica adapter to use old Rokkors via Techart adapter.
But it does not fit. Maybe somebody use such combination and can suggest me
specific adapter's model, please?
Thanks Jim and very nice use of the loxia lenses !
Looks great Philippe
Nice shot Mike
Lovely light David !
Nice set Gregg and C/Y 100-300 looks great... What do you think about the lens ?
Have you trouble seeing right focus on long distance ? Sometimes I think it can be quite difficult .. spec handheld.
Thanks Jim, Ronny and Chris!
Chris, flattered to be considered one of the usual suspects I would only add I feel more a learner here and I have to say that since I follow this thread my results have greatly improved so a great THANK YOU to all those who gave me valuable suggestions and to all the others who give me inspiration every day.
A few shots with the Contax Vario-Sonnar T* 4.5-5.6/100-300 MM and my A7II. I try to take it out whenever I can. In my opinion, the bokeh is ridiculously good for a 100-300 lens:
