I posted images of Paolo previously but I am still amazed by his costume during the carnival. And here is one more taken at sunset, enhancing the colors of his costume more so.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed "likes" to my postings, mostly photo postings. This week, I've finally achieved a personal goal of having more "likes" than posts. I'd prefer to have less talk, and more walk. Thank you all for allowing me to do that.
I hate to say it, but the major thrust has come since I concentrated on the Sony platform and mounted a broad assortment of lenses. Besides the technical advances, using the Sony a7R and a7R2 have been an exciting experience. And this forum continues to inspire with all the great work show using Sony gear.
I haven't given up on my Canon and Nikon gears, but they don't get the attention they used to for many projects.

Loxia 35 rendering style gets my likes pretty often, so damn nice. Even I have ZM2/35 and G35 I'm half-seriously thinking of adding Loxia 35, just to add EXIF and to be able to compare which one I would like better Loxia 35 or ZM2/35 with front filter
I did think I have been quite active in forum over the years, but I have only 1950 posts since 2003 - will take quite long time to reach 9000 posts at my speed...

Be happy and proud Samuli -- you have 3X as many "likes" as posts! That's the real sign of applying your creative skills.
Yes, that Loxia 35 has been a tremendous asset! I'm so happy to have it. Now looking for the 21, and eventually the 50. But the 35 has a special look that appeals to me, which I don't think is duplicated by any of the others in the series.
Hi Ramos, I was there just last week, still processing my shots, but here goes one from Kiyomizu Dera.
This was on A7R2, Contax 100mm F/3.5 @F/11, 25s, ISO 125.
Nice one! It is an amazing place and we got lucky to be there for a festival that only happens twice a year so everything was illuminated with lanterns.
Here's more from that night, now from higher up by the temple.
First one Loxia 21 then the others with Voigtlander 15mm LTM.
