This is crazy. I step away for 3 or 4 days, and 10 more pages show up. Hard to keep up and stay gainfully employed.
Invi2003, second shot page 2052 is fantastic. Love your processing of it. HelenaN, ice shots 2 and 4 on page 2053 are wonderful. I am biased towards close ups, but the detail is glorious. I also like your Lensbaby grass abstracts 2056. Bluloo, BW shot on page 2054 very well composed. Xwing15, some of best Mikaton 85 portraits I have seen (page 2055). Nice use of the bokeh as an asset. Werner_Ultsch, really enjoying your IR shots last many pages, especially last one on 2056; image next page great too. Aztalan, wonderful image of tunnel view 2057. Bob Israel, great snowy mountains and then riverview shots with the 10 Heliar…I I can’t believe how well corrected that lens is.
Just returned from a great trip over the weekend to the California Central Coast. Lots of rain but remarkably beautiful, regardless.

I love your image! I'll be there in 4 weeks. Would you be willing to share some of your techniques (exif stuff and anything else about how you got the shot--time of day and the angle of the light was certainly critical).
Still experimenting with Lensbaby Sweet 50. Really like a couple of the locations I came across in town, but since I had a dentist appointment I couldn't wait around for the "right people" (backs are generally boring) especially since there were very few people around. For example, in the bridge shot I'd love to have someone standing by the railing looking my way, perhaps with an umbrella and/or a dog. I'll return on a suitable gloomy day with rain or snow.

Sure - PM me. Though the angle of light certainly won't be the same - that was last October
