Another great optic at the short telephoto range for the A7rII. The Contax G90/2.8 renders wonderfully. And there's a Techart AF adapter for Contax G lenses to Sony FE. It's a half step below the TAP but works very well with this lens.
It seems like a great lens Bob. My first thought when looking at your images is that it has that typical Zeiss micro contrast that works so well for landscapes and cityscapes. A great alternative for those who are looking for a reasonably priced and small telephoto lens.
I picked up the Sirui PA-20 panorama head today for my upcoming trip to Lofoten (late March). Its actually the first time I have used a pano head, and it really was an eye opener. So much easier to make panoramas with this.
Heres just a quick shot I took outside my home, looking over Oslo. I took a 5x3 panorama (in landscape mode since I haven't received my L bracket yet), but in this shot I have cropped away some bush areas at the left hand side. Photos are taken with the Leica Summicron 75 AA. at f/8.
Thank you, Ronny and sorry, I "missed" it the first time around.

wow Joshua!! I still have one day left in Italy, may need to head out to the country tomorrow.
Scott, if you are referring to my posts, thank you very much. I am not sure since you didn't quote me. Next month it will be my turn to be in Venice/Italy for this year's mask carnival.
Here is another case where the sandhill cranes just happened to be in the composition .
So many great shots. Werner, Joshua and Bob, wonderful BW's
Since there are also great shots of winter conditions -- John, Ole, Andrew -- I thought I would post a couple from around my neighborhood in Florida. This is northern Florida, so it does get cold here, but then bounces right back.
All taken with the 85mm Batis, which just arrived. I think I am going to have to get at least one of the others.

Hi Bob, Really shows what this great lens is capable of! I have the G90 and the G45. I'm interested in the current version of the Techart AF adapter. The first version wasn't all that impressive. How do you find the current one? And then, where did you find the current one? I can't find anything on the Techart site about it. Thanks! Steve
