Happy new year my FM- friends
Thank you very much for your kind words dear Ronny.
Happy new year to you and your dear ones.
And happy new year to all the wonderful photographers on this page
I went to visit the Lakewood Cemetery Chapel today and had the whole place to myself. The design in this chapel was created entirely with mosaic tile. It is a masterpiece.
I used my new Laowa 12/2.8 taking and merging 36 images (12x3) to create this final image.
Excellent work everybody. Wishing everybody who has kept this thread going strong in 2016, a wonderful start into 2017.
Here are some shots with the 24-70 GM. The bokeh sure looks nice, at least to my eyes. This was wide open at 46mm. ISO 3200, hence the noise (sorry, didn't apply noise reduction on this one).

^ Nice Chris. My 'new to me' copy arrives next week!
Thanks, Bob. I hope you get a good one at first try. I didn't like having to go through three to get one that was decent. And now poor copy No.3 of the GM now has to compete with the 35 zm .

I bought mine from an FMer. Hopefully it's not an issue.
I guess, then you're safe. I'm sure you'll like it. From 24 through 50mm, it's amazing and still very good at the long end, as long as you pay attention to where to put your focus.
Bob (rji2goleez), wow love that church image with the Laowa! 12x3 as in 12 images per row, and 3 rows? Did you use a nodal slide?
"Just One More Summer"
This old tree looks battle weary but hopefully it will hold out for one more summer. It's located at a local favorite swimming hole. Discovered on the Guadalupe River north of SATX. I'm sure the tree has provided many generations lots of fun and memories over the years.

Throughout the entire 2016, this thread thrived full of excellent images after excellent images from all over the world, covering all facets of photography, depicting a wide variety of possible objects, posted by great FMers from all corners of the world. Here is to everyone out there and let's continue this "tradition" in 2017.
Happy New Year to ALL FMers!
Going back to "White Pocket" for the afternoon session there when darker clouds started to gather.
