I shot the private opening of a new pizza bar in our local distillery district. Processed with LXC. the man pictured did all of the wood work in the bar.

Bob, thank you for samples of Laowa 12... have you tried to shot at f16 or f13? I'm curious to know if diffraction is prominent. Thanks.
Manuel
No, I haven't shot at those setting yet but will give it a try. Maybe I need to do a bronco wall test!
Photographically 2016 for me has been a year of acquiring and experimenting with legacy lenses with my A7RII - some have come and gone and some are keepers. I enjoy this hugely and most of the inspiration has come from here.
Happy 2017, My thanks for all the inspiration and education.
Here are a few efforts not previously posted - I think! -
So many gorgeous shots from so many talented photographers.
A happy, healthy, prosperous 2017 to all.
A few test shots with the Nikon 85mm F1.4 G using the Vello LAE-SE-NF smart adapter.
It's VERY slow focusing (probably more than twice as slow as the TAP with the same lens), so there's some subject movement with the corresponding loss of sharpness.
It's been an awesome photographic year. And as the sunsets on 2016, I'd like to thank the many photographers in this forum and especially in this thread. You have been an inspiration to me, you have been a friend.
Strange that for some of you 2017 has not yet arrived yet for some of my family down in NZ it's almost evening meal time NY's Day !
To reiterate the many fine comments above .. love this thread, love viewing the many many fine bodies of work you have presented this year, you are absolutely an inspiration that I can aspire to and attempt to emulate. As Jim put it so well, it's an honour to walk amongst you.
May everyone here, and their families, have a wonderful, but most importantly healthy, 2017.
Looking down on the Jinmao - once one of the the world's Top 10 highest buildings but I see it has dropped to #22 now (3rd highest in Shanghai) - from the SWFC (world's #10 highest) ! The pace of change.
