Having no my own Elmarit R 24/2.8 yet,I took the MD (1) W. Rokkor 24/2.8 on the trip along with others Leica R lenses.Rumours that 24/2.8 Elmarit R is a repacked Rokkor 24/2.8 are probably true,as I found Leica and Minolta pictures virtually indistinguishable (maybe just a tiny bit more of glow in Leica case?).All taken on the A7M2:
Came across both of these places by accident believe it or not. Were just walking around the city & saw something that looked familiar. Both with A7R2 & Batis 18mm.
Some street shots on the outskirts of Havana. All with the Batis 25 F2 with the A7rII. A few times out I just took it with the A7rII and it makes a great light combination. I also have a Peak Design Slide strap that is easy to put on and off. Most of the trip I just used the Hand "Clutch" without a strap.
Popping my Sony FE Image Thread cherry here since I just purchased an a7s (finally ) on Thursday. I received my Sony 24-70 f/4 rental today so this is all I've got for now.
I really like what I am seeing from this camera and what I'm able to do with the RAW files.
Hope you enjoy
Travis
Oh, and I do enjoy all the other contributions here! I think it's great to have an enthusiastic group of Sony users!
Here is a shot of the Milky Way over Canyon Lake which is about 30 minutes from where I live north of San Antonio. That's the light pollution from the city as I was facing south. The Milky Way was very faint but still visible.
