Lots of great images. Dale you have some great shots with the 24-70 GM
One of our stops in Havana was this youth program where kids were learning circus type skills with the hope of possiblilty joining the national circus one day. There was a power outage when we were there and the only light was coming from a small window in the back and the door to the side where other kids were sitting looking in. Most shots at 6400 iso. In addition to the lack of light no mats or other safety equip.

Lens revolution! After telling myself I was done with lens acquisitions, I did a total reversal and sold off over a dozen lenses to finance (almost finance) the purchase of two new lenses, the Sony FE 24-70 f/2.8 GM and the Canon EF100-400mm f4.5-5.6 ii IS. I already owned a Metabones IV adapter. I have posted a number of shots from the 24-70 GM. The Canon EF100-400mm f4.5-5.6 ii IS arrived this afternoon and these are the first images right out of the box. These are all hand held and it is a real hand full. The first questions I wanted to answer were:
1. Can I hand hold the camera at 400mm? It is a heavy lens.
2. Will autofocus work hand held at 400mm?
3. Will the Metabones IV be adequately responsive?
400mm f/8 1/2000 ISO 200
400mm f/9 1/1600 ISO 200
400mm f/9 1/1000 ISO 200 This is greater than a 50% crop equivelant to an 800mm focal length
Dinner at our 2nd Paladar, restaurant, in Havana on our first day in Cuba. This stop included some time after dinner enjoying some fine Cuban Cigars...
These images were all with the A7rII and Batis 25 F2

The colors and diversity of birds in Costa Rica are amazing. This small blue bird looks like wearing a mask and a cape, just like a super hero while the yellowish orange of the next one is striking. Both captured at wide open aperture with Canon 400mm f/2.8 Mark II with a 1.4X TC via Metabones IV.
