@ Philipp. Those revearsed Hexanon photo's are surprising with those scientificly structured octagons.
I should dig up my Canon FD Macro coupler, specially made by Canon for revearsed macro work. Do you know it?

Octagons? All I am seeing is hexagons
Does the adapter offer aperture control by the camera or what is special about it?
I was in a hurry to catch the light so I grabbed the widest lens with a 55mm filter thread I could find, which would fit my Minolta reverse adapter, which was the 1.8/40.
Ah, so it works like a flexible spacer ring, sounds interesting. Right now I am broke but i seems as I can sell the SEL2470z for a good price, if I can sell it I can look for one. And a FD 3.5/50 Macro.
