I fail to see why this lens isn't like by more folks especially as many feel there isn't a good solution at 35mm. This lens just rocks. It's bitingly sharp across the frame and has a typical Voigtlander rendering.
Its just not a landscape lens so that maybe the reason. I bought it thinking it would be better in the corners at 5.6 but it needs more. Its more a people , artsy type lens and now I have the 24-70 to cover me this lens did pop back up in the scheme of things. I like the look of it.

Manual focus stack of two 90mm TS-E images
Maximum tilt with 90mm TS-E. Also, 4min exposure without LENR. It is nearly flawless in noise performance. Dunno whats happening...sometimes those long exposures work nicely.
This is my 3rd trip to Mainland in the last 1.5 year. Clearly, I like it.
Shooting experience is great. I mean, stationary objects won't object but hordes of passing people will stop for an oddity who takes his time to manually focus his gear. What I am really pleased with is the fact that people are very friendly when it comes to taking their pictures. Usually I ask before shooting, but often I just point my camera at them and gesture for their approval. So far it never happened that someone would say no or ignore. People were mostly pleased that I wanted to take their shot. More than often they ask the same in return, and it encourages others to join. Many times I had babies put in my arms to take pictures with me no word of communication. It works both ways, and the younger Chinese generation is absolutely friendly and fun to be around. Fourth trip is in its planning stage!

Guy: Great to see you participating in this thread (again?). Raises the already high quality level even further. I like that B/W shot of the Brooklyn Bridge with the Loxia. A really nice composition with the sun star as an added touch.

Charles: As expected, you're making good use of that 85 1.4 GM. Next time Sony releases a portrait lens, they really should give you a pre-production copy to test. That way, the first batch of promo pictures would actually show off the lens' performance (which wasn't the case with a lot of the initial GM series pictures).
Helena: Those are some stunning compositions. Expertly done.

A couple of more shots using the Smooth Reflection App. These were of the Parthenon in Centennial Park - Nashville, TN. next to Vanderbilt University. Both with the A7rii and Canon 24 TSII.
