Joshua: Shit, those monument valley shots are amazing.
Charles: As expected, you're making good use of that 85 1.4 GM. Next time Sony releases a portrait lens, they really should give you a pre-production copy to test. That way, the first batch of promo pictures would actually show off the lens' performance (which wasn't the case with a lot of the initial GM series pictures).
Chris, thank you for the kind words Nice shots!
Joshua, I agree with Chris, those valley shots are superb !!
Jack, really loving your series !
Charlie, wonderful shots! The lighting in #2 is amazing.

Let's take a break from landscape images.... This is a native Navajo Indian woman weaving a blanket inside a hogan (like an adobe) where they used to live. No, they didn't live in a tipi (teepee) but they call their dwelling a hogan.

Thank you for all the "thumbs-up", everyone!
Thank you very much, Chris!
I thought the hanami is over by now, at least the peak was, correct? Nice shots, Chris!
Thanks, Joshua. For 46 out of 47 prefectures that's correct. You will probably have a hard time finding any cherry blossoms this late. Hokkaido is the exception. After 4-5 months of snow/winter, spring arrives (very) late up here.

Photo taken about 15 minutes after sunset June 26, 2015 from an overlook near the top of Cadillac Mountain overlooking islands, Mount Desert Island, Acadia NP, Maine. Image taken with my tripod mounted A7r and my Minolta CLE MC 40mm f2 M-Rokkor lens, ISO 200, lens set to probably f11 for 1/5 second. Processed in LR6.
@ Chris - thanks for the kind words!
So many excellent images. This thread could fill several galleries!
As I woke up this morning, I could see the glow on the lake so I grabbed the camera and whatever lens was on it so as not to miss it. Luckily, I had the Zeiss Contax Vario-Sonnar 35-70/3.4
