Been away for a bit - which included hiking in the Haleakala Crater on Maui. Spectacular landscape! I was mostly just taking snapshots as I went, with the FE16-35 and CP on the A7II.
I got an old Vivitar 70-210 f4.5 macro lens in a MD Minolta mount from my neighbor. Took it to the Denver Zoo today to test out on my A7. Some Lightroom and Tonality CK post processing.

Only flickr standard sizes will show without downsampling: long side 640, 800, 1024, 1600
On second thought: Helena uses an in-between size (1280px?) that displays fine here (but is a bit hard to access in full-res. within Flickr) so there must be some way to get any size display correctly here.

A7R+G Planar 35/2,all at f8 - this lens is superb on the A7R.Too bad the 28/2.8 Biogon without Kolari mod isn't.

I just have recovered from cold and planned a trip to shoot blooming peach orchards for today,but the week-end weather is going to be horrible - 8-10 deg Celsius+rain.
. What a killer lens!
