Photo taken at 9:49 AM on October 19, 2015 of Dark Hollow Falls, Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. A storm had dumped 16 inches of rain on the Park weeks before and the water was abnormally high. But, without the leaves of spring the image did not have the softer and more diffuse light. Image cropped (to 24" X30" proportions) and taken with my tripod mounted Sony A7r camera and my Leica M WATE (Wide Angle Tri-Elmar) f4 lens set to 21mm, ISO 50, lens set to f8 for 1/3 second. Exposure corrected by +0.24 Stops and processed in LR6.
The forecasters were suggesting just a little while ago that we'd get some snow tonight in Mass, but although it will be freezing tonight the snow warning has evaporated now, so hopefully the storm last Sunday/Monday was the last for this winter
