Photo taken at 9:19 AM, June 29, 2015 looking from the Egg Rock overlook, Mount Desert Island, Acadia NP, Maine at an Island in Frenchman Bay and the Maine mainland. Image taken with my tripod mounted Leica R 180mm f3.4 Apo Telyt lens and my A7r, ISO 100, lens set to probably f11 for 1/60 second. Processed in LR6.
This thread is getting even better and better by the day. A few shots of the Library of Congress in Washington DC. To our European friends, there aren't that many architecture like that in this young county.
Yesterday I found a used Loxia 50 for a decent price and bought it.
Awesome Helena! Looking forward to seeing your images with it. I think you'll really love it!!
Superb images this page! Everyone!
Bob...love that set above! Especially the last one.

Went to get my car smogged, so while waiting, went to the local breakfast diner.

O what an enjoyable thread - thanks all! And congrats on the Loxia Helena - awasome!
Another Loxia 21mm shot. Because of the small size it is an always-with-you lens, so when I come across something like this I have the camera with me. Moreover the alleyway in which this artwork was created was tight, so a wide angle was very necessary.

Very nice. I can not wait to visit your city next month
Great! Hopefully you'll have nice weather by then and besides the typical touristic center, try to visit the 'Quinta de los molinos' park, the blossom trees should be great by then, here's some shots from last year:
Thank you René, Gregg, JocoFoto and Ronny (funny!) and everyone else for the likes.
sebboh, that's a beauty! Great work from everyone else too.
On Friday I found a nice path by the river within walking distance from home. I'll definitely be back some day with more interesting light (hopefully with the Loxia 50 ) and in spring it'll be wonderful, I think. It's partly inside a bird sanctuary, so it's very atmospheric with the sounds of various types of geese, swans and ducks.
The interior shot is from CV 15/4.5 III and the rest C/Y 50/1.7.
