Testing out a new lens today.
I picked up a MC Rokkor PG 50/1.4 at a local shop. It has a bit of fungus damage on the rear element, but still seems to work alright. These are all at f1.4 or f2.
Photo taken, October 3, 2015 at 7:35 AM looking across Heart Lake (Lake owned by the Adirondack Mountain Club), Lake Placid, NY. Image taken with my tripod mounted A7r and my Minolta CLE MC 40mm f2 M-Rokkor lens. ISO 400, lens set to approximately f11 for 1/50 second. Processed in LR6.
Beautiful photos Bob. The ones from the post office too.
Lovely light and textures in your tree photos Gregg. It sounds like you're on friendly terms with many of your clients. That's nice.
Very nice again Ronny, René and Phillip and Ole Andre too.
I have decided to try and use the C/Y 50/1.7 for a while now, to get to know it again. I had forgotten how sharp and easy to use it is (no field curvature to speak of etc.), but I still think the Voigtlander CV 50/1.5 is a great lens too. Time will tell if I end up preferring one over the other.
All of these are from the C/Y. Love this time of year when the sun is finally starting to emit some warmth again and you can even sit and enjoy it for a while without freezing. Spring is still far away though.
Phillip...awesome series last page.
Bob...The 15lll looks is impressive in your hands.
Rene...you make any lens shine...really!
Helena...Superb series. I hope you have a really big house!! You must need lots of wall space for all your prints!!
Lovely light and textures in your tree photos Gregg. It sounds like you're on friendly terms with many of your clients. That's nice.
Thank you! Yes, I've delivered UPS in the same neighborhood for almost 18 years now. They're my extended family per se

A7rll and Summicron M 50 v4
This Cron v4 holds an incredible amount of detail. when at 1:1, I can see every individual blade of grass, even near the furthest point from the camera.
