Bass Harbor Lighthouse in Acadia is probably my favorite lighthouse. You can photograph it at dawn during the day or at sunset. To get the best angles you have to be brave enough (stupid enough) to clamber over wet, slippy rocks with your camera gear with waves around your feet. Worth it though. Here are 3 from October 2015 at dawn.
Photo taken about 24 minutes after sunrise (which was at 4:51 AM), June 30, 2015, looking into Frenchman Bay from Egg Rock overlook, Mount Desert, Acadia National Park, Maine. Image taken with my tripod mounted A7r and my Leica M 90mm f2.5 Summarit lens, ISO 100, lens set to probably f11 for 1/25 second. Processed in LR6.
Have you tried upping the Clarity to increase mid-range contrast? Might add some pop which seems lacking.
Also, your subject is the train; the foreground and buildings to left are rather distracting. Have you thought about cropping it in a bit? Sorry, I know this forum is not for photo critique but your comment does seem to elicit a response.

Looks fine as-is, but I think if you try to push it (in color) any more, it's going to start looking too overcooked.
However, in these situations, that's why you try a B&W conversion because it's possible to go a lot more 'dramatic' without it looking too crazy.
I downloaded the photo you posted and did a very hasty conversion in LR 5
Clicked "Black and White" for Treatment.
Then:
Contrast +60
Highlights -100
Clarity -15 or so
Then I messed about in the color channel mixers to get a likable balance to me.
Might be something to consider trying if you're unhappy with a color version (that's what I always do).
