Thanks Chris88!
Great images Rich, twoeye, Helena, Dave!
Helena...love the close focus adapter, especially with a good 50! Your shots are exemplary!!

I recently got an Leica R-M adapter, and use that with my VM-E adapter as well for these 2 grabs

two eye - I'm really enjoying these. What lens are you using?
It is the Canon EF 300mm f/2,8 L IS MkI on a Metabones Smart Adapter MkIV and the Sony A7RII.
The combination works like a charm most of the time, pretty fast and very accurate. In very low light it struggles a bit. At occasions I missed working with a zoom, but my boys were set up with a Canon 6D+ 70-200 f4L(+1,4ex) and covered things up close.
At a couple of occasions the lens/ adapter refused to lock focus, possibly some communication error or missing contact, detaching/ reattaching the lens solved the issue.
No time for traveling, so around my house and backyard.
All with A7, the first one with the Minolta MD 35-70 f3.5, two and three with the OM 200/4, experimenting with an Albinar 2x teleconverter, camera rested on fence post.

Sorry for my banal question but which kind of fruits are them? Nice contrast warm/cold tones...

Just thought I'd share my experiences with the 25/2 Batis - I've only had it for about a week but I'm loving it so far! It's a great companion to my FE 55/1.8.
- Balances well on my A7ii. A bit bulky in size, but weight feels good.
- OLED is no gimmick, it's a fun way to ensure focusing walking around on streets and "shooting from the hip", etc. Also good for DOF when shooting wide open. I can see this being a massive benefit in portraiture on the 85 Batis
- I find it to be a fun FL, as I'm used to 35/50(55) for walk around. It's a bit wide, but the images are very sharp across the frame and show very very little distortion. I can see it being even more powerful on A7Rii with all the cropping possibilities. (cropping still OK on the A7ii)
- Focus ring takes some time to get a feel for, location wise. Not sure why, but for me I find myself grabbing closer to the lens hood.
Posting some night time walk-around shots in SF I took after work. Last was taken by my buddy on his 35 cron.
