Hilltribe men now living under somewhat artificial circumstances pass time, and generate income, by giving raft tours of a dam for (mostly) weekending Bangkokians, or fishing and playing board games. Some of their wives remain a spectacle for tourists in the nearby village – of so-called Longnecks.

Manuel, these are kunquats (or cumquats), sort of like a minature orange. They have the taste of an orange, but most people eat them whole, like an olive. They are about the size of a large orange, and the trees are more hearty than orange trees.
