I think I need a news feed for this thread, so I can just keep up with everything! Beautiful images all around, and I have to agree with several people, just amazing to see all over the world, and everyone's unique perspectives.
This morning I received my Canon 50L
The AF with the Metabones IV v45 is fast and accurate. I really like the MFD of 0 45cms for portraits as this is very handy. Typically my 50 Nocti f/1.0 was 1.0m and the 50 Lux Asph was 0.7m.
With Metabones IV v44/45, the 50L is great 50mm option now
The inexpensive and so compact Voigtlander 40mm/1.4 really shines in your hands! Those black & white shots are very impressive (as usual in your case...). Do you like the color rendering of that lens?
Marc
thank you Marc. It is the VC 2.8 with 40 VM adapter. The lens has generally low contrast. But with some regulators in LR quite well. especially makes the lens fun.
Photo taken last evening, October 26, 2015 about 17 minutes after sunset and about 13 hours and 42 minutes before the Full Moon on October 27 (Full Moon is at 8:06 AM but Moonset is at 7:21 AM and Moonrise is at 6:34 PM) from the top of the Trexler Nature Preserve, Schnecksville, PA. Image heavily cropped and taken with my tripod mounted Canon new FD 500mm f4.5 L lens and my A7r, ISO 400, lens set to f11 for 1/60 second; exposure corrected by about -2 stops.
