Long time listener, first time caller...so be nice but your C&C is welcome. Went on a little water fall hunt the other day and I took the kit lens because of the OSS..felt it would be useful for shots like this and my unstabilized a7. Had fun, but with a family that just kept moving it left very little time for pictures....and the light was SO harsh. It made for a really fun challenge and I was pleased with the results of the a7 in my amateur hands. After 6 years of using enthusiast cams of varying varieties (Canon 40d, Canon g1x, Sony Rx100, Sony A-mounts) I think the a7 is a perfect progression.
I've received a lot of inspiration from this thread and wanted to see how a pic of mine looks here. This is the KM 17-35 via LA-EA4 on the A7Rii. 1/250, F/10, ISO 640

The first time I scrolled down to the second image, my immediate impression was that it looked better. But then I spent several minutes going back and forth to try and be sure. I ended up thinking that if there really is any difference, it's very slight.
I've never done any kind of product photography, though this was done less for commercial reasons and more to spotlight bags made in my city's last leather shop. Anyway, here's pictures...
