Struck by how many of the images on the last three pages either have subjects that are yellow or make wonderful use of golden light. I can't tell if this is coincidence, change of season, or global yellowing, but it is fun to see this "theme." Great images.

Just back from a couple of days in Northland, NZ, taking a range of stuff and also trying out a newly acquired ZM mount Ultron 35mm - a lightweight 35 mm which is looking very promising.

The first time I scrolled down to the second image, my immediate impression was that it looked better. But then I spent several minutes going back and forth to try and be sure. I ended up thinking that if there really is any difference, it's very slight.
+1. Initial impression is that the bottom one looks better (more "pop"), then after a while, I couldn't see much difference.
