Seems like I am not the only person who hasn't been buying anything lately...
Anything, yes, but not lenses for me. My attention lately has been on Profoto lighting gear: recently acquired an Acute Twin head and a MultiSpot (Dedolight fresnel with flash/modelling assembly). Fun stuff, cool results: clicky

sadly because of the all the hardwork done by the alt members, my kit is pretty rounded out.
That talk is borderline heresy in this thread, allow me to help you, do you have any tilt/shift lenses?

always forget about that one. don't really get the point of it either.
That lens is for 1:1 high resolution work.
And the iris would be f/1.0 at infinity - lens focus not till infinity.
But the effectiv iris is "only" 2.0 at 1:1. This is good because of diffraction - many high resolution macro lenses are realy fast.
About new lenses: Got a defective Zeiss Jena 135/3.5. There are more problems than I thought reading the auction text, but it is still ok for me. Glass seems fine.

Will the 85 Repro Nikkor even cover FF135? Quite a few of the ultrafast industrial lenses Nikon made (such as the 35mm f0.9) have very small image circles (the aforementioned 35/0.9 is 12mm, if I recall correctly).

Nothing special like Summilux R 35/1.4 this week.Only mundane Nikkors 180/2.8 ED AIS and 105/2.5 AIS plus Minolta MD 70-210/4.Still awaited more or less impatiently.

4 hours ago I was not aware that I will buy it - ZF.2 50/1.4 Planar mint, boxed, all paperwork included -hardly ever used by the guy who had found out that manual focusing is "too difficult" for him.
Dear Mzimu, please give me some time and a nice weather over Easter to try it out!
