You're in for a treat, it really lives up to the hype ...
Received the 135/2 (Rokinon branding) yesterday and, after preliminary testing, I am blown away by the performance. With intended use being studio tabletop, my priority requirement was color purity. The wide-open lack of TCA, LCA and fringed bokeh is frankly hypnotic. Other optical attributes appear to be similarly impressive. Build quality and handling is a mixed bag that I can accept at this price. Will post a more detailed report with pics in a fresh thread.

Finally, I feel I should post here. Recently, I traded my Leica R 2.0 50 mm Summicron for a Contax 1.4 50 mm Planar MMJ. Could not have made a better move. The Planar is very good wide open at large distance and still better than imagined close up. At f 2, the Planar is much sharper and crisper than the Summicron. At f 8 and 11, the Planar is perfectly sharp across the frame and thus makes a fine landscape lens.

Came across a Contax Sonnar 100mm f3.5 for a reasonable price (GBP 175) and couldn't resist it (even though I have far too many lenses in the 85-105mm range)...

Patiently waiting on a Contax 35-70/3.4 to arrive from Japan. It'll join a 28/2.8 and a 50/1.7. I'm wondering if it'll replace the 50/1.7 as I don't use it wider than 2.8 too much (and, looking through examples, it seems like the Zeiss pop is more pronounced and more frequent with the 35-70 than what I'm seeing with my 50).

Minolta MD 35-70/3.5 Macro purchased in supposedly KEH equivalent EX condition on eBay. Have adapter in hand, impatiently waiting for the lens to arrive. Inspired to try based on the recent C/Y 35-70/3.4 chatter. May "upgrade" to that lens if I end up using it consistently. But it will be used for video frequently, so perhaps the two ring set up of the Minolta will work better than the C/Y? Will see soon...

My latest aquisition, a few weeks ago, was the Pentax 67 55-100/4.5. A very good zoom lens and also the heaviest lens I own at the moment. (1210 grams )

An Olympus OM Auto-T 180mm f/2.
Not a collector's copy--no case, no original lens cap, minor paint loss, but the glass is great and I'm blown away by the lack of CA and the high acuity wide open--not to mention that at 1900g, it's 500g to 1000g lighter than comparable MF lenses. My 2700g Nikon AI-S 200mm f/2 will be headed for sale in the next month or two.

Just got a dream-deferred lens from the old film days: Canon FD 28mm f/2.0. I only had time to grab a few shots to make sure it worked -- it did! I coveted this lens back when I first got started in 1979-80, but had to be satisfied with the cheaper (but decent!) FD 28/2.8 for my A-1 camera as my third lens (started with FD 50/1.8, then the FD 100-200/5.6).
This was a real bargain too -- bought from kehoutlet store on eBay.

Congratulations on a lens I was always after but never did acquire! In the mean time, I ended up getting the Angeniuex 180/2.3 APO. It's just a little slower, but is much lighter at 1150g, with the tripod mount accessory.
I'm in Oregon, your profile shows you in Washington. If you ever want to meet up and get them together PM me. I'm an OM fan and could bring a couple other of those along too.

I am in Oregon from time to time--family in Portland and on the coast. Maybe we'll have to do a meet up.

I recently bought a contax g90 from Adorama and a Leica R APO 180 mm f3.4 from Keh. Both are excellent lenses. The contax looks brand new. I used Techart III for AF. It is not very accurate nor fast but is usable on the A6000. I have to fine tune the focus manually most of the time. The Leica 180 mm is a Series 7.5 and it was categorized as bargain at Keh. It doesn't come with any caps. I was skeptical to buy bargain but it was listed at a great prize. To my surprise, the lens is clean and in very good shape. The Leica looks compact but it is quite hefty. I found it not as easy to hand hold. At first, most of the pictures came out blurred. With more practice, I am now getting better. When I naiiled the focus, the image is razor sharp.

Just bought a terribly used ZE 35/2 for 300€. The hood is missing and it looks like it has been to war and back, but the lenses are fine and the results it delivers are astonishing.
Now I wonder about whether to get a genuine replacement hood for another 80€, make one from a Distagon 28/2.8 fit for 50€ or go with a cheap screw-on replacement hood. Wouldn't like the latter due to ease of use though.
Any recommendations?
