so I bid on a box of dirty lenses for $70. Only saw one lens in the ad and it was the one that I wanted, the rest I couldn't make out. Paid $70 Australian dollars for it. The lenses were
Tamron 400mm f6.3
Minolta 200mm f3.5
Hanimex 80-200mm f4.5
Sun 85-210mm f3.8
Canon 28mm f2.8 FD (aperture doesn't move)
Tamron 300mm f5.6
2x Converter
and the one I was after Canon FD 100mm f2.8
A couple have fungus on them so I will try to clean them but the lens I wanted is nice and clean

Canon nFD 17/4 - returned after tests.Overall IQ on the A7R's sensor below expectations and significantly worse than that of 20/2.8 nFD/SSC.
Zuiko MC 28/2.0 (third approach-hope this time the copy will be good enough to stay),another 28/2.0 nFD,200/4.0 MC Zuiko (I have one E-Zuiko only),on the way.

Took some time, but I finally got an Olympus 38mm 2.8 macro, with a 65-116mm Olympus tube. Swapped the oem mount on the tube with a Leitax adapter and will be using the setup on my Nikon gear. Also modified the guts in the mount on the lens to allow for stop-down apertures on the Nikon.

Curiosity got the better of me, and I pulled the trigger on a Samyang 135/2 in F mount. FM is strangely quiet about this lens and Samyang in general. Build quality aside, the Leitz Tele-Elmar 135 is unlikely to pose much competition but the Nikkor 70-200/4 VR will make an intriguing comparison. Based on posted images, the Samyang has mind-bending color correction, including defocussed areas. This is particularly impressive given the single ED element and the large aperture. I doubt the Zeiss is better in this regard, although I don't intend to find out at 4x the cost.

Recently picked up a Meyer-Optik 135/2.8 Orestor and it's beautiful. Have a minty 8-element Super-Tak 50/1.4 in my bag that I haven't had a chance to use just yet. Also a Schneider-Kreuznach Xenar 50/1.9 that I'm itching to try out, and a Meyer-Optik 58/2 Red-V Primoplan that I chipped the front element on when re-inserting it after cleaning
Waiting for cleaning I have a couple of Petri 55/1.8, a Helios 44-2, Yashica 5cm/2, and some Minoltas and Zuikos.
On the way I have a Voigtlander 35/2.8 Color-Skoparex and 50/2 Septon, another Helios 44-2 (that better be in better condition than my last one), A Meyer-Optik 50/1.8 Oreston, and my gem that I've waited forever for... Hexanon 57/1.2 purchased here from wtwyrick! So, I'll be off-loading my Hexanon 57/1.4 soon

Found an APO-Rodagon-N 90 for a reasonable price, which only took a year. It was the first of the Rodagon-N's I looked for, but the 50 and 75 came up first.

You're in for a treat, it really lives up to the hype (IMHO). As for the lack of interest in that lens here on FM, I've been singing its praises in various threads on 135 mm recommendations, but people don't seem willing to consider that a (relatively) cheap lens from a Korean manufacturer can have performance comparable to (and often surpassing) that of rivalling lenses from top tier Japanese and German manufacturers. Their loss, I guess...
Have you tried it on your adapter?
If you have, it might just require the rear mount to come off to realign things.

If it was stored with the others it may also have spores. I would definitely look for some threads on how to deal with that and take every precaution.
If you haven't stored any lens in a "clean room" since new it will have spores in it.

Won one more just a few moments ago that I've been waiting a year to get my hands on: a Schneider-Kreuznach 40/2.8 APO Componon Makro-Iris (sans Unifoc). Got it a lot cheaper than I expected to all this time, and like the OM I mentioned earlier, it will have to be fiddled with to get it to work with my Nikons. It's got what Schneider calls a V-Mount, which I'll have to adapt to my F mounts. Since I'll be using it on either a PB-4 or the Olympus tube, it's not a major concern.
It's part of a macro/micro project I've been working on all this time, which includes a Polaroid MP4+ stand, and an Olympus BH2 which shows up tomorrow.
Here's a pic of the Schneider (from the eBay listing):
