I purchased the Jupiter 8M from an ebay seller in Poland for $15 shipped and it was in excellent shape, although the adapter ended up being $60 shipped.. As for the Canon, I had been debating between a handful of rangefinder 35's, including the less expensive Canon 35/2 LTM or 35/1.8 LTM, but found this F/1.5 posted on eBay by KEH and decided to pull the trigger. It was listed as an "Ugly" copy, but I realized when it arrived that it was almost flawless. I originally was going to use just a regular LTM to E-Mount, but decided to get the Tinray LM-E Brass Close Focus adapter to reduce the minimum focus distance.

Leica Elmarit R 135/2.8 coming from France - to complete my custom lens setup for one brand (24-35-50-85/90-135-180/200 plus macro 50 and/or 100mm),for Leica R mount, I need 24/2.8 Elmarit and summicron 50/2 at least.Have Elmarit 35/2.8 for exhange.
MC Rokkor PF 50/1.7 - I had to trim and glue the rubber padding on the focusing ring together with replacing the missing red dot with the vivid red nail polish, but it is somehow a special lens with character, that I want to keep in my collection.

Well, not a lens, but I have 2 of the Leica M back to back rear lens caps and a Leica M body cap coming so that I can pack and travel with at least some of my M mount lenses in a smaller space:
This will go with my similar Leica R back to back lens caps that I use for my Leica R !.4X Apo Extender, Leica R 2 X Apo Extender and my Leica R Macro adapter R. I use a second of these to attach 2 smaller R lenses together if they are not mounted on my Leica R to NEX adapter.
Well, my Back to Back Leica M rear caps arrived and they are in quite likely M- or so condition. They work really very well and when needed I can stack some of my M mount lenses including WA with the extended rear elements (though only one of these WA lenses should be used) but can be used with another lens. Very pleased and worth the small almount of money. And the included body caps will protect the rear elements of the lens that is left on the adapter when the other lens is mounted on the camera.

Curiosity came calling with an auction for an MD 50/1.2, and I answered. Looks like a nice copy. I'll be interested to see how it stacks up against the sacred cow Rokkor 58.

The 58mm does uave smoother bokeh, the 50mm is supposed to be sharper. The 50mm usually shows up at a very attractive price point
