So here are some tests with the Contarex Biogon 21mm f4.5. I've never seen anyone post any samples from this lens before, these might be the first NEX shots ever with this lens...
cool! can we see a side view of the lens on camera?

Cool lens, definitely more than a 'hint' of color shift though On my screen there is a very visible 'yellow' central (circular) area, with the rest shifted towards purpleish. Reminds me a bit of what I'd get from the CV 21/4 Color Skopar.
True, more than a hint... It's about equal to the Contax G Biogon 21 which I had before. Cornerfix will take care of that. Need to get that in to my process when I shoot this lens.

@Herb1911 thanls for the advice and images
@rji2goleez I find most citiyscapes boring, but i like your #1 and #2
@briantho Henry Scherer warns on his site, that there is a "great danger of complete loss of the value of the lens" when using Contarex lenses because of aged lubricants which can lead to friction welding which is not repairable. Do you use youre lenses as they were, when you got them or did you lubricate them?
@Naektergal i like the last one
@vallejo the second one is great, love the statue in the background
Sorry for posting without having to offer Nex images (I do not have one), but I feel that this forum has maybe more experienced shooters than the Sony forum (excuse me if I am wrong). I have a question about the Nex-7 versus 5n.
I recently had a second look at the diglloyd review of the Nex-7 and I have to say I was truly impressed by the colour rendition of this latest Nex model. I see a look of the files here that I haven't seen in a long time. At the same time intense and lifelike, and very well blanced.
To make it short: Do those who have tried both feel that the Nex-7 has better colour than the 5n, or does it just have a bit more resolution and a more advanced camera body ? Just by the sensor features (resolution, noise, file size) I would say the 5n is a very good balance, but I am really interested in color here.
So, Nex-7 = virtually the same as 5n, or better, or worse (unlikely).
